Applying for Deferred Action with LUPE

If you would like to apply for deferred action through LUPE, please download the Deferred Action Document Checklist and put a check mark by each document that you have. Once you have at least ONE piece of evidence from each section of that document, you are in good shape to begin applying for deferred action.

All those who have not attended a deferred action consulta, orientation or union meeting must wait until after the second week of September to apply with LUPE. If you have attended a consulta, orientation or union meeting on deferred action, and have your documents in order, please call us to schedule your appointment. We will be making calls to those who signed up at an orientation or deferred action union meeting.

We are not scheduling deferred action consultas for those youth who DO NOT have evidence that they were physically present in the US on June 15, 2012. Evidence can be direct or circumstantial, but you must have it on the day you make your appointment. If you are having trouble thinking about what might be evidence (circumstantial or otherwise), check out this informative thread on circumstantial evidence on the DREAM Act portal. These are ideas that may help you find your own evidence. Please consult with an immigration expert about your own evidence. You can do this within your first consulta or by giving us a call. Once you have a good idea that your evidence is sufficient, call us to schedule a consulta.
