LUPE and LUPE Votes staff were in Austin this week advocating for issues that impact working class people and those who live in colonias. These issues include infrastructure (drainage and street maintenance) education, and healthcare along with immigration reform. These are issues that affect those of us who live in South Texas, across race, place, and background. This week of action consisted of meeting valley representatives and advocating issues as we enter the 88th Texas Legislative Session. ¡Si se puede!
