From DACA to Permanent Resident

The American dream is something that everyone longs for

Member Inocencio Ventura Peña Jr. of Alton is an example of what can be achieved. In 2012, Inocencio relied on LUPE when applying for the DACA program. After 4 months, he was approved, found a good job, was able to provide for his wife and buy a house. In 2016 he applied for advance permission to travel to Mexico and to be able to return to the United States. Soon after, he came and applied for his residence. With the support of his loved ones, La Union del Pueblo Entero, and our Immigration Accredited Representatives who were with him at every step of the way, he can now proudly say that he is a Permanent Resident. Inocencio went to LUPE not only because it was an economic option but because he had confidence in the work and success of social service providers as measured by the approvals of the cases they carry out day by day. Congratulations Inocencio, Si Se Pudo!

“Thank you so much for everything you did for me and my family. May God bless all the DREAMers and LUPE for fighting. With their support, the dreamers who come to study and work, can now follow the American dream and contribute to this great nation. “

“Muchas gracias por todo lo que hicieron por mí y mi familia. Que dios bendiga a todos los DREAMers y a LUPE por luchar. Con su apoyo los soñadores que venimos a estudiar y trabajar, podemos seguir el sueño americano y contribuir a esta gran nación.”
