Digital Marketing Specialist

La Union del Pueblo Entero, LUPE seeks an experienced full-time Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing organization. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the planning, design, optimization maintenance, measurement and reporting of La Union del Pueblo Entero (LUPE)’s social media, and customer service via online platforms all in concordance to the goals and mission of LUPE. The Digital Marketing Specialist will provide influential leadership to LUPE administrative team in order to increase brand awareness and marketing of services and event in online platforms and print collateral across all LUPE departments. The ideal candidate must be Bilingual in English and Spanish and be proficient in Adobe Systems, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.  A Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Graphic Design or related field is preferred but not required.

Immigration Organizer

La Union del Pueblo Entero, LUPE seeks a dedicated and talented full-time Immigration Organizer to join our organization. The Immigration Organizer will provide support for and convene the various organizations supporting asylum seekers to help with capacity building through coordinating volunteers at the shelters, ports of entry, and bus stations. This may require organizing collection drives and distributing supplies as needed in the different immigrant shelters and ports of entry. The Immigration Organizer will also coordinate immigration crisis response efforts, as necessary. 

The ideal candidate is an experienced community organizer who believes deeply in the importance of building community leadership, capacity and power.  The Immigration Organizer will build coalitions by working in partnership with other staff, LUPE leaders, and core partners to strategize and together drive campaign strategies and execution.  The candidate must be able to effectively communicate at all levels—with grassroots community people including LUPE members and leaders, supporters, and elected officials and other policy experts.  Additionally, the ideal candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and must have two (2) years of college or a minimum of two (2) years of significant and progressive experience in community organizing. The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to lawfully enter through a U.S. port of entry.
