Do you go to church or attend organization meetings? Do you own a business or know someone who does? Then you can help us get resolutions passed against the anti-immigrant legislation prefiled in the Texas Legislature!

These anti-immigrant laws are bad bills that will affect the livelihood of all Texans. For that reason, dozens of Valley organizations, churches and businesses have already passed resolutions against these bills.

How you can help:

1. Download our sample resolution, take it to your church, organization or business and ask the leadership to pass it. Let them know that they can edit it if need be.

2. Get a Copy of the Resolution – Once you get the resolution passed, make sure to get the contact information of the head of the church, organization or business as well as a copy of the resolution.

3. Turn in the copy and the contact information to LUPE organizer Martha Sanchez at LUPE's Alton office, or email johnmichael@lupenet.org to arrange giving us a copy of the resolution.

It's that easy. If you have any questions about getting a resolution passed, please don't hesitate to call Martha Sanchez at 956-584-3636 or John-Michael Torres at 956-534-9523.
