In this edition of the LUPE Newsletter, we focus on our team’s ongoing efforts to combat the extreme right-wing agenda led by Trump. Whether it’s uprooting people from their homes and jobs, taking away our freedom to live and thrive, or rigging the system so that billionaires can continue to get richer off our labor, this administration isn’t it.
This month, we’re continuing our Movimiento Resistencia campaign, in which we’re fighting harmful legislation, exposing abuses of power, and uplifting the voices and needs of our community. Read on for updates about the 89th Legislative Session, LUPE’s recent trips to the Capitol, our Know Your Rights sessions, and upcoming events, such as our 22nd Annual Cesar Chavez March.
