At the Cumbre de Colonias, LUPE members gather to prioritize the issues that we will tackle over the next two years. The democratic process beings in juntas caseras (house meetings) in our members' neighborhoods where they decide the most critical issues impacting their lives. Then, our community organizers compile all of their lists to define the top priorities. Finally, the top issues are turned into resolutions, which are formally passed during the Cumbre.
