Release: LUPE MEMBERS ORGANIZE CARAVAN TO GO OUT AND VOTE

On October 28th, LUPE members of the Rio Grande Valley are uniting across zip codes to put decision-making power back where it belongs: with the people. 

What: La Unión del Pueblo Entero (LUPE) and community members will start at the San Juan LUPE Headquarters and will be going out in caravan style to Sgt Fernando De La Rosa Memorial Library in the city of Alamo.

When: Friday, October 28th, 2022 from 11 AM CDT – 11:30 AM CDT

Where: Starting the caravan at LUPE Headquarters 1601 US-83 BUS, San Juan, TX 78589 (Corner of Cesar Chavez Rd. and Bus. 83) and driving to Sgt. Fernando de la Rosa Library 416 N Tower Rd, Alamo, TX 78516

Who: La Unión Del Pueblo Entero, LUPE members, and residents of the Rio Grande Valley 

Visuals: Participants will line up in their cars at the San Juan office to form the caravan. Cars will be decorated with encouraging messages and LUPE flags.
