LUPE Members Of Cameron County Assemble For A Night Of Discussion On Navigating Anti-Immigrant Threats At The San Benito LUPE Office 

What: Cameron County LUPE members will gather at La Unión del Pueblo Entero (LUPE) San Benito office for our monthly Junta General. During this meeting, we will discuss, organize, and make crucial decisions. This month, our focus is on addressing the current anti-immigrant laws affecting our community and figuring out how we can organize to protect immigrant families in the Rio Grande Valley, with the participation of the Texas Civil Rights Project.

When: Friday, January 19th, 2024 starting at 6:00 PM CDT – 8:00 PM CDT 

Where: San Benito LUPE Office, 338 N Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586

Who: La Unión Del Pueblo Entero, LUPE members, and Texas Civil Rights Project 

Visuals: La Unión Del Pueblo Entero will be in attendance with Texas Civil Rights Project to address information and the recent news on SB 4. Members will participate in discussion, questions, and brainstorming on how to react, organize, and take action against these anti-immigration laws.
