Release: LUPE MOBILIZES IN AUSTIN TO CALL FOR THE IMMEDIATE END OF OPERATION LONE STAR

On March 4th, 2023, LUPE staff and members will meet with RITA (The Reform Immigration for Texas Alliance) as they host a Rally and March to call for the end of Operation Lone Star 

What: La Unión del Pueblo Entero (LUPE), members, The Reform Immigration for Texas Alliance (RITA), alongside border communities, human rights advocates, elected officials, and faith leaders will be holding a march at the South Steps of the Texas Capitol to denounce the impact of the anti-refugee, anti-immigrant, and anti-Texan supremacist agenda.

When: Saturday, March 4th, 2023, The rally will begin at the Texas State Capitol South Steps building at 10:30 am, march will follow towards Republic Square Park at 11:45 AM CST.

Where:  Texas State Capitol South Steps building to Republic Square Park

Who: La Unión del Pueblo Entero (LUPE), members,The Reform Immigration for Texas Alliance (RITA), alongside border communities, human rights advocates, elected officials, and faith leaders 

Visuals: Participants will be engaging with another at as they shout in protest marching from Texas State Capitol South Steps building to Republic Square Park. LUPE Staff and members waving their flags alongside border communities and organizations.
