Release: LUPE Joins Frontera Texas Organizing Project to Speak On The Impact Operation Lone Star Has On Texans

Experts gather to discuss recently passed anti-immigration laws, understand their implications, and explore how they'll negatively impact our communities.

What: La Unión del Pueblo Entero (LUPE), Frontera Texas Organizing Project (FTOP), and Texas Organizations are declaring a “State of Alert and Resistance” in Texas for border residents, residents of color, immigrants and refugees.This virtual discussion is directed to the community who has beared witness to Operation Lone Star (OLS) as Senate Bill 4 (88-3), Senate Bill 4 (88-4), and Senate Bill 3 & House Bill 3 (88-4) are prime examples of politically motivated, deadly, and inhumane immigration and border deterrence policies. We will talk about what our next steps are as border organizations to keep our families and communities safe and free.
