Urge ATTORNEY General Ken Paxton to keep families together!
Just a week after applications for Parole in Place opened, the state of Texas, joined by 16 other states, has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, halting the much-needed Parole in Place program. For many in our community who had high hopes of adjusting their status, this is yet another roadblock in an already slow immigration system. Families are now left in limbo, facing uncertainty and disappointment.
Immigration is a human right and immigrants deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. We urge you to contact Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and demand that he reconsiders Texas' involvement in the lawsuit. Together, we will continue to fight for our community's rights.
