President Biden is coming to Brownsville, his first visit to the border as president. According to reports, Biden is coming to promote anti-immigrant legislation will harm asylum-seekers and immigrant families at the border.

At a time when we’re facing anti-immigrants attacks from Gov. Greg Abbott and the Texas Legislature, we need President Biden to #HearOurPueblo!  We demand policies that permanently protect immigrant families and provide resources to welcome people who are seeking asylum at our nation’s doorstep.

Border communities deserve to live dignified lives where our elected officials do their part to improve the conditions of our communities rather than uphold and push harmful policies.
